Atlanta Hawks / Brooklyn Nets – Under 220
The Atlanta Hawks will travel to the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets and I think this total is set just too high and will have no problem hitting the Under 220 tonight.
Atlanta comes into this game with a 4-3 record, however, this team, the Hawks have struggled on the road this season, posting a 1-3 record which is largely due to offensive struggles. Atlanta currently ranks 17th in scoring offense at 107.9 ppg, however, in the Hawks four road games, they are averaging just 100.5 ppg.
Brooklyn comes into this game ranked 20th in scoring offense at 104.6 ppg, however, the Nets have been able to win 3 of their last 4 games behind solid defense play as in those three wins, the Nets are holding opponents to an average of 93.0 ppg. Brooklyn currently ranks 10th in scoring defense and 3rd in opponent FG% at 42.0%.
Under is 5-1 in Hawks last 6 Wednesday games and 11-4 in the Hawks last 15 games as a road underdog. Under is 8-0 in the Nets last 8 games following a ATS win and 6-0 in the Nets last 6 games as a favorite.
There are plenty off offensive starts in this matchup, however, both Trae Young & James Harden have seen their scoring averages go down with it harder for them to get to the FT Line and as I expect Atlanta to struggle on the road offensively like we have seen all season, I think this game has no issue staying Under 220. Good Luck!
