The Charlotte Hornets will travel to State Farm Arena to take on the Atlanta Hawks this Saturday night and I think the Hawks will have no trouble covering this mid-range home spread.

Charlotte has been playing dome great basketball as of late as they come into this game winning five straight, however, the last 4 games has been at home and I’m a bit concerned Charlotte is playing their 3rd game in 4 days and that they are currently on a 2nd half of a back-to-back in which they had to travel last night.

Atlanta got off to a slow start to their season, however, they are starting to play more like the team we saw in the Playoffs last season and come into this game on a 3-game winning streak in which they are averaging 119.7 ppg.

The Hornets are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games which were a 2nd half of a back-to-back and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite and 24-4 ATS in their last 28 games as a home favorite.

Charlotte has relied on a high-scoring offense for most of their success this season, however, I expect the offense to struggle a bit tonight and as Atlanta has just been lights out at home, I think they win this one by around 10 and cover this spread.
