Phoenix Suns (12-3) vs Denver Nuggets (9-7)

Phoenix Suns -8.0
The Denver Nuggets will travel to the Footprint Center to take on the Phoenix Suns this Sunday night and I like the Suns to continue their winning ways and cover this large home spread.
Denver comes into this game with a 9-7 record, however, Denver has lost their last three games and have a bunch of question marks heading into this game with Nikola Jokic missing last game due to a sore wrist and is currently questionable for this matchup.
If Jokic is out against, which I think he will be as I don’t think the Nuggets will want to take any chances this early in the season with their star, it’s going to be a long night for the Nuggets offense in Phoenix.
Denver on the season, ranks just 24th in scoring offense and is going to have trouble against a Suns team that has won 11 straight games while holding opponents to just an average of 96.2 ppg in their last 5 games.
The Nuggets are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss. The Suns are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games & 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
Denver is going to have to rely on Will Barton & Aaron Gordon to do most of their scoring which is a not a good feeling when going up against a Phoenix team that can matchup well with both of them and as I think the Suns offense will do plenty against a tough Denver defense at home, I think they win by 10 and cover this spread. Good Luck!
Brett’s Pick Phoenix Suns: -8 -110
