The Philadelphia 76ers will travel to State Farm Arena to take on the Atlanta Hawks and I like Atlanta to be able to cover a small home spread.

Philadelphia was able to get Joel Embiid back after missing time due to COVID, however, Philadelphia has still lost 2 of their last 3 games and Embiid just hasn’t looked like himself, especially after going just 3 for 17 from the field in their recent loss against Boston.

Atlanta got off to a slow start to the season, however, the Hawks are starting to look like the team we saw in the playoffs last season as Atlanta has won 8 of their last 9 games while Trae Young is starting to light it up, coming off an incredible 33-point, 10 assist performance against Indiana.

The 76ers are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall & 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up loss. The Hawks are 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games as a home favorite & 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

Atlanta is an impressive 8-2 at home this season and as I think they have no trouble slowing down a Philadelphia offense that ranks just 18th in scoring offense and has a less than 100% Joel Embiid, I think the Hawks have no trouble covering this small home spread. Good Luck!
