You could make the case either way in this game, as both teams almost were not here after their semifinal performances. TCU let it get a lot closer than it should’ve against Michigan, while Georgia you could argue should’ve lost the game against Ohio State had it not been for some miraculous effort to rally and win that game. That being said, I like TCU a lot here. Yes, Georgia will be another stiff defense that the Horned Frogs have to go through, but they went through Michigan like a hot knife through butter and this Georgia defense isn’t the same stout Georgia defense from last year. I’m not saying that TCU wins this game outright, although it’s not out of the realm of possibility, but this line once again, is one more slap of disrespect in the face of TCU and the Horned Frogs have been making the oddsmakers look foolish time and time again this season, going 9-3-1 ATS. TCU has played up to tough competition all year long, and I see them doing it one more time. Give me TCU and the points as my premium pick for this game.
