Kansas Jayhawks (33-6) vs North Carolina Tar Heels (29-9)

I see the word luck thrown around a lot with regards to UNC being in the title game, but I am of the opposite mindset that the Tar Heels earned their spot here. The Tar Heels obliterated Marquette, hung on in a wild game against the then defending champion Baylor Bears. The Tar Heels responded with convincing performances against UCLA and tournament darling Saint Peter's before ending Coach K's career in the final four with the win over rival Duke.
I'm also hearing concern of a potential letdown, but I think it's a confidence builder. The Tar Heels know that Kansas is no slouch and will have their full attention for this game. Kansas has looked strong for the most part in their run to the title game, but I think North Carolina comes in with more momentum as Kansas had issues with Creighton and needed a big second half to take out Miami as well as taking advantage of a Villanova team that played with a short rotation to begin with but was also missing one of their better players. There's no denying that Kansas is a talented group and could win this game. Armando Bacot's rumored to be dealing with an ankle issue, but even at less than 100%, the UNC big man is a nightmare for opposing teams on the glass and Kansas will be no different. I've really been impressed with what I've seen from Bacot, Caleb Love, RJ Smith and Brady Manek to name a few and I think UNC matches up extremely well from a personnel standpoint and if Kansas wins this game, it's a one possession game at best. Give me the Tar Heels and the points while sprinkling a bit on UNC ML at +170 as well.
