I get the case to be made for Utah as the Utes have looked really good so far in the NIT, but it’s worth remembering that Utah was at home for all of those games and the Utes were a far better team at home than when you took them out on the road or on a neutral floor this season. The Sycamores have one of the best offenses in college hoops and a solid defense to go along with it. Coming into the tournament I said that some teams that get snubbed come out flat and some come out with a chip on their shoulder with a point to prove that the NCAA tournament committee made a mistake and Indiana State has done the latter by a mile. This Indiana State team has run through every obstacle, and on a neutral floor that could feel like a home game for Indiana State considering their proximity to Hinkle Fieldhouse, I think the Sycamores are the play here.
