This may be my favorite play on the card on Saturday if I’m being completely honest. Heading into Friday, you made the most money in the majors betting on the Royals through 23 games, making almost $700 of profit on $100 bets while fading the Twins every game through 23 games has made you well over $1000 on $100 bets, the most in the majors as well. Now we’re getting plus money on Saturday with the Royals and their ace on the mound in Danny Duffy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Duffy is my dark horse to win the AL Cy Young this season and early on he’s pitched like it, with a 0.39 ERA and he’s making teams miss with almost all of his pitches. Matt Shoemaker’s on the other side for the Twins, and he would have one of the worst ERAs in the majors if he had enough innings to qualify this season and his opponents weren’t overly tough, facing teams like Seattle, Detroit and Pittsburgh. I think Kansas City gets another win behind Duffy and we’re getting great value with them on Saturday.
