The Rockies just can’t get their act together on the road and now start a pitcher in Austin Gomber who has struggled this season with a 6.65 ERA and is coming off of a start in which he allowed nine runs in less than two innings of work. Zac Gallen’s been Mr. Consistent for the D-Backs’ pitching rotation and is coming off of a one-hit seven inning shutout in a double-header matchup with a really good Atlanta team. The pitching mismatch alone combined with Arizona’s hot bats is enough to get the win and cover on the run line for the D-Backs here.
