Some people say that lines look fishy and at times they do. But there are also times that it simply comes down to the books making a fatal error and I think that’s what we have going on here. I’m not the president of the Dallas Keuchel fan club, but he’s the better starting pitcher here with the better and more consistent team behind him. Mike Minor had a nice start in his last outing, but that doesn’t change the fact that he has a higher ERA at home than on the road this season and his home ERA is sitting at almost 5.70 this season. Furthermore, prior to his last start, Minor allowed four or more runs in each of his previous four starts and in five of the last six. Over that four start stretch, Minor allowed 24 runs in 20 innings of work. The White Sox are 4th in the majors, batting .262 against left-handed pitching this season and while the Royals have won five straight, the White Sox have the best win percentage against left-handed pitching this season at 19-8. I think the White Sox come in and take care of business here at the fantastic price. Give me the White Sox here.
