The Cubs for whatever reason can’t seem to string consistent results together and while Cincinnati’s bullpen made us sweat a little, the Reds still got the job done on Tuesday and I like them to do it again here. Tyler Mahle’s a bit of a rare breed because his road ERA is miles better than his ERA at home, but those are the perils of playing at Great American Ballpark. On the road, Mahle is 5-1 with a 2.26 ERA compared to 2-2 with a 6.07 ERA at home. Zach Davies has been a capable arm for the Cubs, but I just think it’s Mahle’s and the Reds’ night. Give me the Cincinnati Reds in this one.
