Normally in most situations, I’d be giving a look to this kind of plus money with a decent team like Cleveland, but I think the line is what it is for a reason. J.C. Mejia has been terrible, giving up at lead four runs in his last four starts, five of his last six and six of his last eight. In that four start stretch? 21 runs in 17 innings for an 0-4 record and an 11.12 ERA. The six start stretch? 0-5 with a 9.00 ERA. The eight start stretch? 0-6 with a 9.37 ERA. Mejia is just giving up runs left and right and the Tribe can’t cope with it. Lance Lynn’s had his ups and downs, but he’s allowed just one run in each of his last four starts, going 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA. Lynn also has a White Sox lineup behind him that can really swing the bat, and it’s simply a matchup of two pitchers going in different directions. I’ll lay the -1.5 with the White Sox in this one.

Chris’s Pick Chicago White Sox: -1.5 -110
