Houston Astros (64-35) vs Seattle Mariners (54-45)

This is a lot of value with the Seattle Mariners on Friday, but even though Robbie Ray’s done a nice job of turning his season around, he was still roughed up for six runs in three innings in his last start against these same Astros. Ray’s also been far less effective on the road this season, boasting a 5.09 road ERA across 53 innings on the road this season. Justin Verlander goes for the Astros and it’s almost impossible to go against him in his current form. On the year? 13-3 with a 1.86 ERA, a 6-1 mark with a 2.05 ERA at home and against the Mariners, 4-1 with a 2.60 ERA across 34.2 innings this season, which includes going 2-0 with a 2.03 ERA in starts vs. Seattle at home this year. The Astros found a way to claw one out against Seattle on Thursday and I think they’re starting to have Seattle’s number a bit as of late. Give me the Astros in this one.
