Chris Flexen’s had solid numbers against the Astros this season, with a 2.55 ERA in four starts vs. the Astros and a 2.33 ERA in two starts vs. Houston in Houston. The two losses in Houston came by scores of 4-0 and 4-1 and all four of Flexen’s starts against the Astros this year have gone under the number. On the other side, Framber Valdez was involved in a high-scoring game vs. Seattle last time out, but I think that was an anomaly more than anything and Valdez gets back to from against a Mariners team he’s had a lot of success against in the past. Valdez has also allowed two earned runs or less in four of his last six home starts while going six innings plus in each and I think this one ends up coming in under the number as well so give me the under here.
