Minnesota Twins (55-49) vs Toronto Blue Jays (58-46)

The Twins are an attractive look as a home dog in most spots, but not here. I get that the Blue Jays haven’t been at their best on the road this season, but they’re 12-4 since firing Charlie Montoyo before the all-star break. Now Alek Manoah had an injury scare in his last start after taking a comebacker to his pitching elbow, but he appears to be fine which is good news considering he’s the Jays’ best option and is one of the best in the majors today with a 2.43 ERA overall and he’s been slightly better on the road as well, with a 2.37 ERA this season. Sonny Gray goes for the Twins and while Gray’s been alright, he’s coming off of a rough July, where he posted a 5.92 ERA across five starts. I think this is just a bad matchup for Gray against a Jays team that’s found their groove offensively again so give me Toronto.
Chris’s Pick Toronto Blue Jays: -120
