Texas Rangers (46-58) vs Chicago White Sox (53-51)

I get why you’d look at a home underdog in some spots, but this for me isn’t one of them. The Rangers managed to get a win over the White Sox on Thursday, but Friday’s a different story when you have Glenn Otto going for Texas. Otto has a brutal 7.39 ERA in 31.2 innings pitched at home this season, which is going to make it difficult to match zeroes with Chicago’s staff ace in Dylan Cease. Cease has allowed one run or less in nine straight starts, for a 0.67 ERA and an 8-1 team record. I just don’t see how Texas wins back-to-back games here. Give me Chicago in this one.
