It may feel like the obvious play here, but I’m going to lay the points with the Sixers here. Sure, the Sixers could rest guys like Embiid and Simmons here, but even a patchwork Philadelphia squad could beat the Rockets by 20. During this five game winning streak, the Sixers have been winning by an average of 22.6 PPG and if you take out the two-point OT win over the Spurs, that number rockets (no pun intended) to 27.8 PPG. The Rockets on the other hand, have lost seven of their last eight and have failed to hit 100 points four times in that stretch. I just don’t see any way that the Rockets keep this game within reason, so I’ll lay it and play it with the Sixers here.
