San Antonio Spurs (6-17) vs Phoenix Suns (15-7)

I get the case to be made for a home underdog in some spots, but not this one. The Suns haven’t been as dominant out of the gate as they were last year, and the Spurs losing skid won’t last forever, but until it stops, it’s one of those things that you have to keep riding as the Spurs showed no signs of letting it up after folding in the 4th quarter against the Pelicans last time out. The Spurs have lost by an average of 16.6 PPG during this ten game losing streak and the Spurs are the worst team in the league in terms of adjusted net rating, being outscored by 10.6 PPG per 100 possessions, which is bad considering Detroit’s in 29th, being outscored by 6.5 points per 100, a whole 4.1 point difference between last and 29th. The Suns on the other hand are outscoring teams by 5.2 points per 100 possessions and the Spurs are being outscored by 8.4 points per 100 possessions at home. Sounds to me like a beatdown’s brewing from the Suns to the Spurs.
Chris’s Pick Phoenix Suns: -10 -110
