Los Angeles Kings (47-29-11) vs Edmonton Oilers (51-29-7)

I get why the Oilers would be favored here, as a team with generational players like Connor MCDavid and Leon Draisaitl, it’s almost unthinkable that they could be on the brink of elimination. However, the Oilers have been flimsy defensively in the last couple of games and while the Kings gave up their fair share in game five, they managed to take the momentum with a win and now the Oilers have to go into a pivotal game six without their best defenseman in Darnell Nurse, who was on the ice for over 26 minutes in game five. I think the Oilers are in trouble here. Give me the Kings to close out the series and log the league’s first real series upset.
