The Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs face off on Tuesday in an SEC college basketball showdown at Stegeman Coliseum. When these two teams faced off in March of 2021 it was Alabama that won 89-79.

Alabama comes into this game with a 13-6 record overall and they have gone 7-11-1 against the spread. In the last game against Missouri, the offense was elite scoring 86 points and that led to the 10 point victory. Even though Alabama won their last game, they have had some bad losses too. A few games ago, Alabama gave up 78 points to Mississippi State and that led to the defeat. Jaden Shackelford has been the top player for Alabama averaging 16.9 points while shooting 40.1 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from behind the three-point line. There are three different players that are averaging at least 12 points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is the Georgia Bulldogs who sit with a 5-14 record overall and they have gone 5-13-1 against the spread. In the last game against South Carolina, the offense could only manage 66 points and the defense gave up 83 points. Georgia is averaging 69.9 points while their defense is giving up 75.9 points per game. Kario Oquendo has been the top player for Georgia averaging 12.6 points while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 21.9 percent from behind the three-point line. There are three different players that are averaging at least 10 points per game.

Georgia is 0-4 against the spread in their last four games. Alabama is 0-4 against the spread in their last four games played on Tuesday. The over is 5-1 in Alabama’s last six games. The over is 4-0 in Alabama’s last four games against a team with a winning straight-up record.

Alabama is going to run up the score, and Georgia is going to have no offense with their offense to keep this game close. Look for Alabama to score close to 90 points and they will come away with a cover of the spread.
