Chelsea has won all five of its past matches, defeating teams like Manchester City, Everton, and Liverpool along the way. Chelsea's Ross Barkley was the goal scorer for the team in its win over Leicester City. Barkley fired a beautiful shot with his right foot in the middle of the box to give Chelsea the only goal necessary in the match. Chelsea's defense has been strong in its last five matches, only allowing a total of two goals during that span. Chelsea will only have a couple of days of rest when it takes on West Ham United, but I for one do not think that will phase them.
The last time West Ham United and Chelsea met was on November 30th of 2019. Surprisingly, West Ham United was victorious in that match by the final score of 1-0, as they stunned the Chelsea home supporters.
I do not see any shocking performances from West Ham United in this match, as Chelsea really means business right now. I see Chelsea winning this match by at least two goals, so taking them against the spread holds great value in my eyes with even money.
