The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever face off in their 16th game of the WNBA season inside the bubble at IMG Academy on Monday.

The Chicago Sky have had some success this season, but they are struggling as of late losing each of the last two games, including a shocking loss against the New York Liberty. In that game the Liberty scored 101 points, a whole lot of points for an offense that hasn’t been good. In the Sky’s last game the defense was bad again giving up 88 points to the Storm and that led to the loss. On the season the Sky are averaging 87 points per game while the defense is giving up 83.6 points per game.

Kahleah Cooper has been the best offensive player for the Sky this season averaging 15.4 points while shooting 50.8 percent from the field. Allie Quigley has also been a difference-maker for the team averaging 15.1 points and shooting 46.9 percent from the field.

On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Fever who have had some real struggles this season and coming into this game they have lost three games in a row. In the Fever’s last game against the Dallas Wings, they were competitive but they were outscored by six points in the 4th quarter and that led to the loss. Kelsey Mitchell has been the best offensive player so far this year for the Fever averaging 18.5 points while shooting 45.5 percent from the field.

Her sister, Tiffany Mitchell has also been good for the team in the 12 games she has played averaging 14 points while shooting 35.9 percent from the field. In this game, the Fever need to get out to the fast start, but they can’t struggle late in the game like they did in the last game.

The Sky like to play a faster pace and that leads to both teams scoring plenty of runs in the games they have played in. Look for both teams to run up the score and in this game is going to go well over the posted total.
