Minnesota Vikings (6-5) vs Chicago Bears (3-8)

There’s something not right about this line. It seems a little short given the fact that in the first game between these two was Minnesota -3 at Chicago. I understand that there’s no Kirk Cousins under center, but the Vikings are 5-1 SU 6-0 ATS L6 and I would’ve thought this spread would’ve been a bit bigger. That said, with Justin Fields back, look for the Bears to have some success against a Vikings Defense that is blitz-happy and Fields is good vs the blitz. Look for explosive plays from him on the ground and through the air based on his threat as a runner and that will give them a real chance to snap a five-game losing streak to Minnesota. The Bears should win the time of possession battle with a ground attack that will move the chains throughout this game. On the other side, the Vikings aren’t going to run the ball against the 4th-ranked run defense and will have to rely on Joshua Dobbs to throw the ball. That’s a good proposition for Chicago backers as I think we see regression from the Dobbs and the Vikings that will pay dividends in the future and it should start tonight with a Bears cover. Take the points.
