Milwaukee Brewers (37-27) vs Pittsburgh Pirates (23-40)

Pittsburgh's anemic lineup is ranked dead last in the majors in home runs (45) and 29th in runs scored (221). Unlike Milwaukee, whose batters enter today's game with a 9.9% walk rate (7th), the Pirates are ranked 20th in the league in BB% (8.3). The Pirates are also ranked 29th in wRC+. Pittsburgh will send Wil Crowe to the mound this afternoon, the club's No. 21 prospect. The right-hander struggled with the Nationals last season where he allowed 13 runs (11 earned) in 8 1/3 innings. He works with below-average velocity, is considered a below-average athlete, has had health issues (there were knee and elbow concerns coming out of high school, then he blew out about halfway through his sophomore year at South Carolina), and struggled during his first big league trial, at age 25/26. Crowe finds no support in a Pittsburgh bullpen that owns a 5.10 ERA away from home this season. Take the Brewers and invest with confidence.
