Baltimore Orioles (6-10) vs Cleveland Guardians (9-7)

American League Game of the Week. My selection is on Baltimore over Cleveland at 6:35 pm et on Wednesday.
The Orioles have hit some early turbulence with back-to-back losses, including a 6-3 defeat in the opener of this series. Still, this feels like a prime bounce-back spot for a team that remains loaded with offensive talent. The O’s have one of the most potent lineups in baseball and are well-positioned to get back on track Wednesday against Guardians righty Gavin Williams.
While the sample size is small, current Baltimore hitters have already found success against Williams, going 4-for-12 with a pair of homers and a 1.301 OPS. Williams has yet to find his rhythm this season and could be in trouble against an Orioles squad looking to avoid a third straight loss.
Dean Kremer will counter for the Orioles, and although he's off to a shaky start, he has historically handled Cleveland well—holding current Guardians hitters to a .243 average with a .646 OPS across 37 at-bats. Importantly, this will mark Kremer’s first start at Camden Yards this season, a potential spark in a favorable matchup.
Look for Baltimore’s offense to respond and for Kremer to deliver just enough to guide the O’s to a much-needed win.
Take Baltimore. Projected score: Orioles 5, Guardians 3.
Sean’s Pick Baltimore Orioles: -125
