The Rangers Jon Gray has been very good this year going 4-3 with a 3.89 ERA.  However, this is an excellent Mets lineup that has really been hitting the ball.  I don't feel that Gray has enough to keep them off the scoreboard.  The Mets starter Carlos Carrasco might have 8 wins on the season but that is more a credit to the run support he receives as his ERA is 4.85.  The month of June was not kind to Carrasco as his ERA was over 6.  The veteran has really struggled on the mound of late and that will continue against a formidable Texas lineup.  Over is the play.
