Like a lot of NHL playoff series this year the scoring is up and teams have been winning by more than 1 goal.  I think the Bruins get the job done at home and by more than a goal making that plus money very appealing.  As for on the ice, I do think that Carolina is the better team but home ice has been huge in this series.  Certain buildings bring out the best in teams and that can be said for the Boston Bruins.  The Bruins have played well at home all season and are generating good scoring chances at 5 on 5 hockey.  Tonight the bounces go their way and they extend the series.
