I think Boise State is on upset alert on its own field on Saturday. Air Force has perfected the triple-option this year, earning an average of 341 rushing yards per game and scoring 33 points per game (which is very impressive for a slow-paced team like Air Force). Boise State has had issues stopping the run dating back to last season. Boise State allowed 415 rushing yards in last year's game against Air Force. Air Force's defense is a lot better this season than it was last year and Boise State's offense has been a lot less impressive than it was in 2020 as well. Boise State is missing a ground game, only earning 2.3 yards per carry this season. Hank Bachmeier is good, but he cannot do it himself. Air Force should put Boise State in a lot of bad spots early and if the Falcons take an early lead, this game could be over before the Broncos see it coming. I will take the well-disciplined a well-coached Air Force Falcons and the points here.
