USF is the far better team in this matchup in my opinion. USF has a dynamic offense that may have struggled vs. Bama, but should win the day vs. an inferior opponent like So Miss. Last year So Miss had one of the worst run defenses in FBS in terms of YPC allowed at over 5.0, and so far this year things don't look to be much better as Kentucky had its way on the ground in Week 1. I could argue that USF's OL and run game is better than that SEC team, and USF's three-headed monster at RB with Joiner, Wright, and Keith + the dual-threat QB Brown who leads the team in rushing yards should have a field day. USF may be questionable defensively but So Miss' offense has not shown me anything promising this season, as it was even outgained in the first half vs. an FCS opponent last week. USF played a very tough first half with Bama and was only outgained by 19 yards in that half. I look for the battle-tested Bulls to earn the win and cover on the road here.
