This series has been very close over the years with VT winning a few games outright in the past few seasons. VT is on a losing streak but in this rivalry game, I expect the Hokies to compete to the final buzzer and at the very least, cover this number. This is a potential season-saving moment for a Virginia Tech team that could use a road conference win in the worst way. Virginia's slow pace and low-scoring game style make this number even larger when compared to other college basketball games with similar spreads. I think VT hangs in there and finds a cover as the road dog.
