Southern Utah Thunderbirds (9-19) vs Tarleton State Texans (21-7)

Tarleton State has been a thorn in my side this season but I am going against it yet again here. Tarleton is plainly overvalued and overrated at this point in the season, and while you have to give the Texans credit for going on this run, it is plainly unsustainable. Southern Utah already beat Tarleton and while the Texans are playing with revenge, I'd much rather take a team in a revenge spot when they are at home. Southern Utah does what you have to do to beat Tarleton and the first thing is to take care of the basketball. Southern Utah also does a great job at defending the perimeter and down the stretch of WAC play Tarleton has been much more reliant on three-point jumpers so that is also imperative. I like Southern Utah big here and I think the Thunderbirds sweep the season series and snap Tarleton's big win streak.
