Reynaldo Lopez still owns an xERA in the 4.00s as his success is unsustainable in my eyes. The Phillies get to face Lopez for the second time in 10 days, which I think benefits the hitters. Ranger Suarez pitched very well in his first start back from injury at Kauffman vs. a red-hot Royals team. The Braves have great numbers vs. LHP in August but they also have their signature high K rate. If Suarez can keep the ball on the ground and miss some bats, he should be able to get out of some jams if needed. The Braves have a strong pen, but as we saw on Thursday it has not been the sharpest in August with an ERA at 4.80. I think the Braves are a trendy team right now but I look for the Phillies to take Game 2 of this series on the ML.
