Ron's Wednesday NBA ATS Crusher
Philadelphia 76ers (5-1) vs Boston Celtics (5-1)

The Celtics fall into a system of mine that backs teams coming off really poor shooting nights when they are playing teams coming off strong shooting performances. Boston shot sub-40% in the OT loss to Minnesota and sub-30% from three-point land. It was still impressive to see the Celtics get to OT to begin with against a solid team on the road, especially considering that the T-Wolves shot above 50% from the floor. On the other side, Philly beat up the Wizards last time out and overall the 76ers have benefited from a very weak schedule this season. While the Celtics have road wins over the Knicks and Nets as well as a home victory over the defending Eastern Conference champs, the 76ers' five wins were all over teams with losing records and mostly teams that missed the playoffs last year. The is the first test for Philly since the Bucks game and that was the 76ers' only loss of the year. Derrick White is listed as probable for Boston and he should be a huge boost back into the lineup, scoring 15.8 ppg this year with over 4.0 assists per game and rebounds per game. White is one of the best perimeter defenders in the game and should help Boston out defensively overall. This should be a great game between Eastern Conference rivals, but in the end, I like the Celtics to prevail and cover the number on the road.
