Indianapolis Colts (0-1-1) vs Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)

The Colts have been a big disappointment through the first two weeks of the season but this team is still very talented on paper and with Michael Pittman returning to the field for this game, I think the Colts have a much sharper performance in their home opener here. Indianapolis' defense has been fine, especially against the run, but the offense has looked anemic. Ryan did not have his top-two targets last week, including Pittman, and that is not easy for a QB that is still only a few weeks in with his new club. With Pittman back and still an excellent OL and ground game led by one of the more talented RBs in the league in Jonathan Tayor, I expect the Colts' offense to be a lot more productive. I was not necessarily impressed with the Chiefs' home-opening performance against LAC on TNF last week as I thought Mahomes made a few more mistakes than we are used to seeing and the defense did not do too much in stopping the Chargers' explosive passing attack (even without WR #1 in Keenan Allen). I think the Colts exploit that here and I like Indy to at least cover this spread. I also think the Colts have a good shot at winning this game outright as well.
