The Marshall Thundering Herd will travel to James A. Rhodes Arena to take on the Akron Zips this Wednesday night and I think Akron will have no trouble picking up the win here.

Marshall is once against led by their offense which is putting up an impressive 82.2 ppg, however, this is more of a team that just likes to run the ball and hasn’t shot the partially away, especially from beyond the arc where they rank just 337th in 3P-FG%. Marshall has also struggled defensively as they currently rank just 286th in scoring defense & 236th in defensive FG%.

Akron hasn’t had the most success on the offensive end, however, this is a team that is tough to score on as the Zips come into this game ranked 7th in scoring defense & 14th in defensive FG%. Akron does a great job of taking their opponents out of their game plan and we have already seen that success the Zips have had this season in their near upset of Ohio State to start the season.
