The Charleston Cougars will travel to Timmons Arena to take on the Furman Paladins this Friday night and I like rolling with Charleston and the points.

Charleston has been lights out on the offensive side of the ball this season as they come into this game averaging 81.3 ppg and have done a bunch of damage behind the arc as they come into this game ranked 50th in three-pointers made per game & 83rd in 3P-FG%.

Furman is a solid team which is also led by an explosive offense, however, this is a team that hasn’t been as sharp as of late as the Paladins suffered a double-digit loss at home against Navy and didn’t have the most convincing road wins at USC Upstate & High Point.

The Cougars are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games and 8-4 ATS in their last 12 game vs. the Paladins. The Paladins are 5-14-1 ATS in their last 20 games & 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. the Cougars.

This is going to be a high-scoring game as both teams like to keep a fast pace and have given up plenty of points, however, as Charleston has had plenty of success at Timmons Arena and that Charleston has already picked up an impressive road win at Chattanooga this season, I think the Cougars keep this one competitive and cover with the points.
