The New York Knicks will travel to the Spectrum Center to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night and I like the Knicks to cover this small road spread.

The New York Knicks have been a bit inconsistent this season which boiled over in their last game against Milwaukee when coach Tom Thibodeau benched his starters for the entire 4th quarter, however, there is no doubt that New York is not the better team in this matchup, and I expect the Knicks to bounce back tonight with a strong performance.

Charlotte was able to snap a 5-game losing streak with a 10-point victory over Memphis recently, however, this is a team that is still young and has really struggled defensively as during their 5-game losing streak, the Hornets allowed their opponents to average 122.6 ppg.

The Knicks are 17-7 ATS in their last 24 road games and 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up loss. The Hornets are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

New York has shown their talent this season with road wins already against Milwaukee, Philadelphia, & Chicago and as I think the Knicks starters come out with a bit more motivation for a big performance tonight, I think the Knicks have no problem picking up the win in this one and cover this this small spread.
