The Washington Wizards will travel to the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs and I like Washington cover this small road spread tonight.

Washington comes into this game with a 13-7 record which includes a winning record on the road this season. Washington is coming off back-to-back road wins against Oklahoma City & Dallas and have been outstanding defensively this season, ranking 9th in the NBA in scoring defense.

San Antonio is coming off a solid win at home against Boston, however, this is still a team that is just 5-13 on the season & 3-6 at home. The Spurs have struggled on both ends of the court as they come into this game ranked just 18th in scoring offense & 23rd in scoring defense.

The Wizards are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 & 18-8 ATS in their last 26 Monday games. The Spurs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win & just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Washington is the more well-balanced team and have a great closer in Bradley Beal and as I just don’t think San Antonio is going to have much success on the offensive end against the Wizards, I think Washington will be able to cover this small road spread. Good Luck!
