The Tennessee Titans will travel to Gillette Stadium to take on the New England Patriots this Sunday afternoon and I think the Patriots continue their recent strong play and have no trouble covering this large home spread.
Tennessee might come into this game with an 8-3 overall record, however, this team is just not the same without Derrick Henry in the backfield and the banged-up Titans offense was exposed last week against Houston in an embarrassing 22-13 loss.
New England has been one of the best football team in the NFL over the past month, led by a defense that comes into this game as the top scoring defense, holding opponents to an average of 16.1 ppg.
The Titans are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall, however, are just 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. The Patriots are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall & 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. AFC opponents. Good Luck!
Bill Belichick probably still has a bad taste in his mouth after Tennessee knocked New England Patriots out of the playoffs in 2019 and between the fact that Belichick keeps his foot on the gas pedal throughout the game and that the defense gives a Tennessee offense similar trouble that we saw them have last week, I think New England wins this one by 10+ and covers this spread.
