This is one of those lines that’s not making sense to me. I get that Patrick Sandoval’s a better pitcher than his numbers would indicate, but the fact of the matter is that the Angels are still a disaster and I’m just in a position to trust Texas more here, especially with Martin Perez on the mound. Perez has been the Rangers’ best pitcher this season, with Texas going 14-5 in his 19 starts, including a 9-0 mark as a team in Perez’s road starts this season. The Rangers are the better team against left-handed pitching across the board and I expect Perez to have another solid showing here. Give me the Texas Rangers in this one.
