I’m sticking with the Cubs. The Cubs just looked like the better team by a fair margin in the opener and this pitching matchup suits them fairly well. Brandon Woodruff’s a decent arm in Milwaukee’s rotation, but the Cubs had a lot of success with Justin Steele on the mound as Steele posted a 0.98 ERA in his last seven starts last season while Woodruff struggled in this same spot in a season-opening loss at Wrigley, giving up 7 runs on six hits in 3.2 innings. I think getting the Cubs at a coin flip price after their solid start is great value here. Give me the Cubs.
