The Capitals are always going to be a cup contender with the likes of Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby, John Carlson and co. in the lineup. However, the Flyers were my pick to win the top seed in this round robin grouping before the playoffs started as the Flyers went 7-1-1 against the other three teams in the group this season, and the Flyers posted three straight wins over the Capitals in the calendar year with the three wins coming by a combined score line of 15-5, including 12-4 in the last two games alone. There’s too much value to pass on with the Flyers here, so give me Philadelphia as my premium pick for this game.
